Oh, I almost didn't see it coming!

TV's haven't really been
"thick" since the long-ago days of the CRT display, but if you thought
the flatscreen you've got in your living room was about as thin as it
gets, you'd be dead wrong. Just look at the new Signature 4K OLED from
LG announced this year at CES. Specifically, look at it from the front;
from the side you'd be hard-pressed to see it.
The
LG Signature OLED TVs come in a few different sizes, from 77-inches
down to 65-inch model which boasts the slimmest profile at just 2.57mm.
For context, an iPhone 7 comes in at 7.1mm—quite hefty by comparison,
but the TV doesn't need room for a battery or any other sort of guts
like speakers. This TV is a just a screen, with a mandatory sound bar if
you want to be able to hear anything.
Instead of a traditional
mounting system, the Signature OLED is designed to be attached to your
wall with a few magnets. On top of that, the TV's colors are vivid and
its blacks incredibly inky since OLED panels can completely turn off
pixels that are supposed to be showing black, as opposed to traditional
LED and LCD displays, which always light the entire screen from the
back, no matter what colors are being show.
Like
virtually all the flashiest TVs at CES, LG's Signature OLED has neither
a price nor a release date, though you can reasonably expect the price
will be incredibly high. The 77-inch version of last year's model goes for a cool $20,000. Start saving now. to view more images of this incredible product click here
